PurchaseSeat adds new seats to the organization.

POST 
/api/v1/billing/seats

Creates the specified quantity of seats with the given type. Seats are immediately available for assignment. Cost is prorated if purchased mid-billing cycle.

Authorization​

Requires billing:manage permission.

Billing​

  • Prorated amount charged immediately via wallet
  • Full amount included in next invoice cycle

Errors​

  • INVALID_ARGUMENT: Invalid seat type or quantity
  • FAILED_PRECONDITION: Insufficient wallet balance for prorated amount
  • RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED: Maximum seats for plan exceeded
