ReleaseSeat cancels a seat license.

DELETE 
/api/v1/billing/seats/:seatId

The seat is removed from the organization. Can be immediate or scheduled for period end.

Authorization​

Requires billing:manage permission.

Billing Options​

  • at_period_end=false: Immediate release, no refund
  • at_period_end=true: Seat active until billing cycle ends

Errors​

  • NOT_FOUND: Seat ID not found
  • FAILED_PRECONDITION: Cannot release assigned seat (unassign first)
