UpdateAutoReplySettings updates auto-reply settings for a channel.

PUT 

/api/v1/engagements/channel-configs/:channelConfigId/auto-reply

Configures automatic welcome messages for new engagements. Different messages can be set for greeting, away, and offline scenarios.

Message Selection

When auto-reply is triggered:

  1. If outside business hours → sends offline_message
  2. If no agents available → sends away_message
  3. Otherwise → sends greeting_message

Errors

  • NOT_FOUND: Channel configuration does not exist
  • INVALID_ARGUMENT: Invalid settings (e.g., delay > 60 seconds)
  • PERMISSION_DENIED: Caller lacks channel:write permission
